The Golden Gates of Herrenhausen

I've always enjoyed visiting stately homes and gardens in England, so I was more than happy to take up my friend's offer to go to the Herrenhausen Gardens in Hannover, Germany. After some initially cold and miserable weather, the skies cleared up and we were greeted with gorgeous sights like these.
